Old Tom Gin

Just like dry gin, old tom gin is made of neutral alcohol and various herbs and spices. The difference is that this old fashioned style of gin is then slighly sweetened. For a long time old tom gin was the most sought after gin as it hasn`t been produced for decades and recipes like the famous Tom Collins or the Martinez were originally mixed with old tom gin. Currently old tom gin is having a bit of a comeback with brands like Both's, Hayman's, The Secret Treasures or Ransom offering a new drinking experience in the gin category.
