Genever, Jenever and Corenwijn

Genever is the grandfather of the popular dry gin and is a juniper flavored brandy from the Netherlands. Genever offers a delicate, malty type of flavor second to none. With oude genever, jonge genever and corenwijn there are different types of genever, which differ in their production methods and aging. Although there are many good cocktails with genever, genever from brands like Bols, Bokma, De Kuyper and Zuidam are mostly enjoyed neat and slightly chilled.
