Hielt man bislang Abfüllungen mit dem Markennamen Crabbie in der Hand, handelte es sich um Whisky Abfüllungen aus Fremdbeständen. Da die Marke (bisher) noch über keine eigene Produktionsstätte verfügt, diese soll unter dem Namen ‚Crabbie Micro Distillery eröffnen), wurde hier ein getorfter Single Malt einer anderen Insel Destillerie, die nicht näher genannt wird, verwendet.

Aroma: intensiv mit malzigem Aroma, frische Zitrusnoten.

Geschmack: Vollmundiger Whisky, feine Honignoten mit Orangennoten und grünem Tee.
Finish: Lang und rauchig mit feiner pfeffriger Würze.
