Talisker Single Malt Whisky Port Ruighe 0,7L 45,8%

Talisker – Schottische Malt Destillerie
Übersetzt wird der Name der Destillerie oftmals mit ‚Wasserloch‘, was wohl auf die Lage der Brennerei am Salzwasser- Loch Harport zurück zu führen ist.  Sie zählt zur Whisky Region der schottischen Islands und ist die einzige Brennerei auf der Insel Skye.
Die Talisker Destillerie wird in den höchsten Tönen gelobt, wird sogar teils in einem Atemzug mit Islay und Glenlivet genannt. Geschmacklich sind Talsiker Whiskys eher bei den schweren, maskulinen Whiskys einzuordnen. Geprägt sind diese außerdem von leichter Öligkeit und einer deutlich torfigen Rauheit. 

Talisker Port Ruighe

Aroma: Etwas rauchig Früchte und Eiche. 

Geschmack: Eine dezente Süße mit rauchigen und leicht würzigen Noten. Pflaume und andere dunkle Früchte sind präsent sowie ebenfalls ein schmackhafter Eichenton.
Finish: Das Finish beim Talisker Port Ruighe ist lang. Hier zuerst noch Noten von Pfeffer und Eiche. Nachklingend sind süßliche Malznoten und ein dezentes Raucharoma.
